Will my partner ever be able to hold down a job?

My (43F) partner (40M) has just been diagnosed with ADHD. The challenge is that this has come at a point where I am at breaking point in our relationship. Our relationship has been challenging for many reasons including his lack of planning and organisation, poor memory, impulsivity, risk taking, periods of depression, poor financial management, conflicts that go from 0 to 100 in the blink of an eye & self medicating. However the biggest problem is his inability to hold down a job. He has had around 10 jobs over our 5 years together. The same pattern occurs each time. After a short while he starts having issues with something or someone that he builds up into a big issue in his mind, he starts having regular sick days and inevitably gets fired for being unreliable or quits. This then means he is financially dependent on me I’m the periods he is without work. He lost his last job a couple of weeks ago when he was just days away from his adhd assessment. I told him I really was feeling like I was done with our relationship however was willing to give it one more shot now that he is medicated. I do love him, but this is coming at a cost to me in many ways. Is there hope for us? What are the chances he will be able to hold down a job long term (assuming he gets a new one!). Does it make me heartless to consider leaving when I know he has ADHD?
