Alright, how are yall getting to work on time in the morning…

I work at 8am Monday-Friday. I set an alarm for 6am so I can snooze a few times while I wake up, and because I don’t trust myself to set an alarm for 7 cause I like to lay in bed for a little while before getting up which may or not not be the problem lol. Anyway, I find that I always procrastinate getting out of bed until 7:20, and sometimes even 7:30 because I literally HAVE to at that point. This makes me a couple minutes late every single morning - my work is like 10ish minutes away. EVERY morning, I justify laying in bed for a tiny bit longer, and tell myself that getting out of bed at 7 would result in being ready TOO early and then having nothing to do but wait which in reality… that probably isn’t true. Anyway, I’m so sick of feeling so rushed in the morning cause I’m late again. I work a desk job and management is very flexible so they don’t really even notice. Other people get in around the same time as me as well so it’s not the end of the world, but I still want to do better with it. Also, this isn’t just with work either I suppose. I’m always a couple minute late pretty much everywhere I go and it annoys people and I hate it but for some reason, just recognizing in the moment that I need to start getting ready earlier is so difficult. My brain is like “but we’re so comfy here doing what we’re doing… just a couple more minutes.” That’s what ruins everything. Anyone here found something that works for them (besides medication)?
