The physical sensation of "brain overheating" (the dry sponge feeling). How do you manage work and daily life?

Hey everyone, Recently diagnosed with ADHD here. One of the things I've been experiencing for years is this feeling like I have a squeezed, dry sponge in my head when I get mentally exhausted (which happens pretty quickly when I'm processing information). It's a very physical sensation, almost like my brain is literally overheating. When I'm in this state, it's incredibly hard to process anything , even something as simple as choosing what to eat or what to watch. I'm curious how common this specific feeling is here. How do you function with it on a daily basis? How do you manage at work, and what kind of jobs do you do to not constantly trigger this mental burnout?
